Samsung UN55B8500 55-Inch LED HDTV Review

samsung has out new samsung 55UN8500 LED HDTV that comes with the new Breakthrough local dimming LED technology for a sharper image as well as true-to-life brightness and offers stunning a high dynamic contrast ratio for extreme detail and image depth.

Design

It comes in at 1.6 inches deep at the thickest point. The stand has a brushed metal surface and a transparent, crystal neck swivel stand.  When viewing it from the side you will see a silver color. samsung offers a special thin wall mount, if you need to keep the TV on its stand, so it will look pretty impressive from the edge-on.

Connectivity

Samsung has boosted connectivity with four HDMI inputs, two USB inputs, a PC input VGA-style, and a single component video input. And also includes a RF input for antenna or cable, an optical digital audio jack, and the Ethernet.

The new generation of HDTVs from Samsung LEDs use up to 40 percent less energy than conventional LCDs and also free of lead, mercury and other volatile organic compounds.
